Volendo aggiornare alla nuova versione 2.6.2 xxl, devo fare il raccomandatissimo e indispensabile backup…
dal wiki non ho capito bene come fare, nemmeno con le istruzioni passo passo.
Cosଠscarico WP-DB-Backu, lo uploado nella cartellina plug in, accedo al pannello apposito, clicco su “attiva” e mi compare: Non si dispone di permessi sufficienti per accedere a questa pagina.
Devo impostare da qualche parte i permessi a 777? a quale file/folder?

In un precedente post in cui avevo problemi con i permessi, mi avevano sconsigliato di settare i permessi di tutta la cartellina wp-content a 777 per sicurezza…magari mi limito alla cartellina plugin? ora provo…

no, perchè il plugin crea una cartella backup-***** in wp-content, quindi plugins non va bene
non so se sia una regola o un’eccezione, ma in una occasione tale cartella, che aveva creato il plugin, aveva come proprietario non l’utente ftp (cioè io) ma l’utente mysql o qualcosa del genere (il root del database insomma)
ovviamente non potendo modificarla in scrittura, ho dovuto intervenire tramite richiesta al gestore dell’hosting
