Ciao a tutti, sono nuovo del forum e non sono nemmeno tanto competente…aiutatemi:)
Ho un vecchio sito HTML realizzato con Dreamweaver. Volevo aggiungere una sezione di blog al sito.
Ho creato il blog WP avvalendomi di MyPHP su un server locale.
Comprando un dominio Aruba linux con sql potrei avere un sito html dal quale accedere alla pagina/e di blog? Mi basta installare la cartella di installazione di WP in una sottodirectori del sito HTML?
Potrei fare in modo che blog e sito html comunichino in modo tale da avere nella mia home.html visualizzato l’ultimo articolo del blog?

si, puoi, devi installare wordpress ad esempio nella cartella tuosito.com/blog
cosi’ come hai fatto in locale.
va bene aruba linux, fai attenzione che sia linux e non windows.
puoi avere gli articoli di wp su una pagina “esterna” residente sullo stesso server, ma la pagina deve avere estensione .php per interpretare il linguaggio, quindi la cosa che devi fare e cambiare l’estensione della tua pagina home.html in home.php.
ti consiglio di fare una ricerca sul forum e trovi tanti esempi, tra cui uno stesso mio su come includere i post su una pagina “esterna” a wordpress.
