Perchè ormai è da due mesi che ho rinunciato a far funzionare l’uploader in flash… le ho provate praticamente tutte… i consigli su questo sito, quelli dati su wordpress.org, ho provato a riscrivere in cinque forme diverse il file .htaccess, ho provato dei plug-in particolari che avrebbero dovuto sistemare i problemi dell’swfupload, ho provato a sostituire il swfupload di serie con una versione beta e una versione ufficiale diverse, ho provato a cancellare e ricreare le cartelle di upload, ho provato a cambiare in ogni verso possibile i diritti di accesso alle cartelle, ho provato ad accedere al mio sito da praticamente tutti i browser più importanti in circolazione…
non ha funzionato nulla… con WP 2.5.1 ed un hosting business Linux su Register.it continuo a non poter fare l’upload dei file da WordPress, e sono costretto ad utilizzare il pessimo uploader “alternativo”.
Perciò, volevo chiedervi se alla fine qualcuno è riuscito a trovare la soluzione universale a questo problema?

hai provato a chiedere a register se possono modificare la configurazione dei server per farlo funzionare?
Su top host lo stanno facendo, su aruba linux funziona su webperte funziona.
Non è assolutamente una critica o altro perchè spesso i service provider si dimostrano molto collaborativi.

Personalmente non ho mai provato a chiederlo a Register.it
Girando sul web però ho sentito di uno che ci ha provato, ed al quale il customer care di Register.it rispondeva che probabilmente era colpa della impostazione sulla memoria massima allocabile da uno script PHP (40Mb su Register) e di provare a diminuire la richiesta negli script di WP. Ma almeno nel suo caso non aveva funzionato.
Tutto sommato mi girano anche i cosiddetti, se penso che gente che paga 20 Euro all’anno non ha di questi problemi, ed io che ogni anno lascio a register più di 150 Euro fra dominio e hosting ci devo perdere la testa…
