salve, sto realizzando il theme per il blog in versione natalizia, ma ho riscontrato il seguente problema:
quando clicco sul link per leggere i commenti mi si apre normalmente il permalink con il testo del post e di seguito i commenti che sono stati lasciati al post stesso, MA la parte riguardante i commenti, in qualche modo non prende i cambiamenti che ho effettuato alla pagina comments.php.
Sapete dirmi come fare per ovviare a tale problema?
Ho provato lo stesso theme nella mia installazione locale con MAMP sul mio mac, e funziona tutto come dovrebbe, ho la scritta Lascia un Commento e non Leave a Reply, escono i tag XHTML supportati, vedo l’immagine che ho messo al posto di “Submit Comment” e qualsivoglia modifica apportata.
Info utili, ho installato su entrambi i server l’ultima release di WP scaricata da questo sito, non ho apportato alcun tipo di modifica al theme dopo il caricamento sul sito. Serve sapere altro?
Spero che qualcuno possa aiutarmi, sta cosa proprio mi da un fastidio assurdo…

Parrebbe che venga usata una qualche cachee sul server remoto.. o semplicemente il tuo browser sta “cachando” qualche cosa, prova a forzare un ricarico completo della pagina con CTRL+F5 su Firefox (su IE mi pare sia uguale)
Oltre all’ovvia possibilità che il nuovo file modificato non sia stato caricato correttamente, meglio cancellare e ricaricare che sovrascrivere con l’FTP.

ciao Steve, intanto grazie per esserti interessato.
ho provato con 2 pc, un mac e uno con winxp, nonche’ con browser differenti, safari, firefox e internet explorer.
ho ricaricato TUTTO il theme sul server e svuotato la cache, risultato? nessuno, non e’ cambiato assolutamente niente.
io non so’ proprio piu’ che fare… mi affido a voi…
ho notato una cosa che magari non c’entra nulla ma lo dico ugualmente, nella versione in locale quando clicco sul commento il permalink che vedo e’ http://…/…/…/#comments mentre online vedo http://…/…/…/#respond
ho provato a mano a cambiare il link da respond a comments ma il risultato non cambia.
Aiutatemi per favore…

Differenti inpostazioni delle opzioni di WOrdPress forse? Verifica i vari settaggi sotto la voce opzioni del menu di amministrazione. Inoltre il sito online con altro tema funziona? Se si il rpoblema è quindi nel tema e non in WP.

allora ho provato piu’ template, la prova del nove l’avro’ a breve, scarico un theme completamente in italiano e vedo se lo fa’ ancora.
ho controllato tutte le impostazioni e non differisce nulla… sinceramente non so’ che azz fare piu’… AIUTATEMI!!!

ok ho provato giraffe2 e come volevasi dimostrare, quando provo ad andare sui commenti mi esce “Leave a Reply” e non esce in italiano come il resto del blog vista la localizzazione del theme in italiano fatta da steve.

allora, ho installato sul mio spazio web un nuovo wp, fresco fresco con db nuovo di zecca, ho provato il theme “natalizio” che in locale funziona bene e sul blog non prende la parte dei commenti ed il risultato e’ che funziona perfettamente… ora e’ certo che il problema sta in WP, molto probabilmente e’ nel database.
ora la domanda nasce spontanea, come faccio a salvarmi tutto quello che e’ presente nel blog risolvendo tale problema? facendo un dump del DB molto probabilmente riporta gli stessi problemi prenti gia’ ora, quindi ad occhio, o basta sistemare qualcosa nel DB “vecchio” a manina senza corrompere nulla, o fare un dump dei soli post archivi ecc che servono.
sono qui che aspetto indicazioni, mi affido alle vostre mani sapienti che stanno su WP da tanto tempo.

Il fatto che su un WP fresco e nuovo il tema funziona… significa che NON è colpa di WP Forse qualche commento o qualche articolo (solitamente i secondi) hanno del codice strano, identificare il post incriminato potrebbe essere difficile…
Se il tema che usi ora è HTML valido (parlo del non natalizio) potresti usare, anche su una copia locale, questo plugin:
http://wordpress.designpraxis.at/plugins/batch-validator/
per identificare post che non siano validi e poi indagare su questi, per i commenti non mi pare esista una cosa equivalente purtroppo. In alternativa puoi provare a ripristinare su un DB pulito tutto meno la tabella commenti e vedere che accade e poi importare i commenti a blocchi di 50 e quando qualche cosa va storto sia in che blocco cercare.
Ma siccome i commenti vengono pesantemente filtrati per pulirli da codice HTML strano punterei più agli articoli che se pubblicati come Amministratore permettono di inserire praticamente tutto, compreso del famiregiato codice porcheria da copia incolla da Word.

procedero’ come da te consigliato, ma non capisco una cosa… come puo’ essere che uno o piu’ post “sporchi” infierisca sul fatto dei commenti e di tale pagina che non viene proprio presa in considerazione?
questa e’ l’unica cosa che non capisco… per far prima provero’ a dumpare prima i post sulla nuova installazione di wp di prova per vedere se continua a funzionare tutto e successivamente i commenti, che ne dici? forse e’ piu’ veloce cosi’ no? se poi uno dei due mi da lo stesso problema si tratta di ripulire il tutto con santa pazienza.
