Vorrei differenziare i privilegi degli utenti collaboratore da quelli base di WP.
Per capirci mi interesserebbe che i collaboratori entrando nel blog potessero solo vedere la pagina scrivi e quindi creare o modificare unicamente un post da sottoporre poi ad un editore o amministratore.
Come posso fare?
Esistono plug-in o devo mettere mano al codice?

Molto interessante, ma non fa del tutto al caso mio.
Perché anche se l’utente che ho creato può solo creare o modificare suoi post, vede anche le sezioni gestione e commenti che non voglio permettergli di vedere.
Nel succo l’utente che vorrei creare dovrebbe vedere Bacheca, Scrivi e Profilo.
Forse non so come usare role manager per farlo però.

esatto.. quel plugin fa quello che vuoi crei u nuovo ruolo e gli assegni solo alcune possibilità che possono essere definite completamente a proprio piacere selezionandole dall’elenco che ti darà il plugin. Crea un nuovo utente e lascia stare quelli standard è meglio…

Ok, ho provato nuovamente a ricreare un nuovo utente e una nuova capacità .
Ho assegnato questa nuova capacità solo a quell’utente e … nulla.
Praticamente riesco a creare solo in nome di questa capacità , ma come faccio a far capire a WP che cosa deve farci con quella capacità ?
Scusate, ma sto plug-in faccio fatica a digerirlo.

Tu non devi creare una nuova capacità ma un nuovo ruolo da assegnare ad un utente, le capacità sono “funzioni” possibili in wordpress e quelle proposte dal plugin sono TUTTE quelle possibili, la possibilità di aggiungere capacità c’è perchè potresti creare o trovare un plugin che aggiunge nuove capacità .
Dovrai quindi usare l’opzione ruoli del plugin e in fondo alla pagina avvedrai che puoi creare un nuovo ruolo e a questo assegnare le capacità che desideri. A questo punto all’utente assegnerai quel ruolo e questi sarà limito nelle possibilità come da te desiderato.

Ok, ora ho capito.
Il problema allora è che non c’è una capacità adatta a quello che interessa fare a me.
Perché dovrei avere un’ulteriore restrizione di read + edit post che mi andrebbe solo ad eliminare la possibilità di visualizzare le sezioni gestione e commenti.
Questo non riesco a farlo con le capacità che sono pre confezionate in WP.
Almeno per quanto ci abbia provato non ci sono riuscito.

Allora forse sono io che non capisco cosa vuoi che faccia questo utente, io ho capito che deve poter scrivere articoli, ma non pubblicarli immediatamente e che quindi possa vedere solo una minima parte dei menù.
Se è cosଠse prendi un utente che hai e lo editi sotto Utenti->Autori&Utenti, e gli assegni solo due capacità (in basso nella schermata) e cioè Edit posts e Read a tale utente apparirà la bacheca, la possibilità di scrivere articoli ma non di pubblicarli direttamente mentre i menu che mostrano gli articoli e i commenti danno l’elenco ma non la possibilità di modificarli.
Quali altre possibilità dovrebbe avere tale utente? Non l’ho capito anccora

Di vedere le schede commenti e gestione, con i relativi ip nella scheda commenti e questo non lo vorrei.

Si ora si… effettivamente non è possibile, certo che se non ti fidi dei tuoi utenti “scrittori” a questo punto meglio non farli scrivere Con l’IP ci fan ben poco direi… al massimo vedono la mail che non appare nlla parte pubblica el blog, ma ripeto.. se non ci si fidia dei propri autori.. fagli mandare i post per email e poi fai un bel copia incolla

Diciamo che sono persone che non conosco direttamente, quindi vorrei mettere le mani avanti.
Purtroppo il blog per cui mi servirebbe è molto “delicato” e vorrei essere il più trasparente possibile ma anche il più al sicuro possibile.
L’ho chiesto perché mi piaceva l’idea di riceve un loro post, con loro relativo nick associato e poterlo pubblicare subito a nome loro.

Salve a tutti!
beh devo dire che anche io vorrei evitare che gli utenti iscritti possano vedere l’indirizzo email degli altri. Tra l’altro oltre che nella sezione commenti anche nelle mail di notifica dei commenti.
Potrebbe essere un’idea quella di commentare semplicemente il pezzo di codice che visualizza l’email…, ma non essendo un esperto di Wp non saprei quale è!!!
Comunque voglio approfondire l’argomento e, se ne vengo fuori, vi faccio sapere.
