Ciao a tutti,
sono nuova del sito e sto lavorando a woocommerce con wordpress su un sito in localhost (problema per il quale non posso postare il mio link). Proverò a spiegare il mio problema postando una foto che possa aiutare. Sto provando a rimuovere la sezione “categorie”, “tag” e “numero pezzi disponibili” dal mio sito web ma non so come fare. Ovviamente all’interno del server vorrei mantenere la dicitura per permettere una maggiore organizzazione ma voglio rimuoverla dal lato client. Ho provato a cercare in giro il div che viene creato in wordpress ma niente. Riuscite ad aiutarmi? Scusatemi ancora per la storia del link. Ho dovuto mettere un link alla foto perché davvero non so come risolvere il problema link. Sono nuova quindi sono pronta a ricevere consigli in merito!!

In senso lato puoi non visualizzare quelle scritte con i CSS mettendo un display:none ai rispettivi selettori.
Se quelle scritte appartengono al tema creerai un child-theme e farai la modifica là¬, se invece sono di woocommerce può andar bene fare lo stesso oppure no, dipende.
Da una foto non ci ricaviamo niente.
Naturalmente per capire come si chiamano devi usare gli strumenti di ispezione del browser che utilizzi.
Tutto ciò però esula da WordPress.

Aspetta. Non ho ben compreso. Devo guardare il css di woocommerce perché, sono d’accordo con te, riguarda proprio quello. Quello che non comprendo è la parte dell’ispezione. L’ispezione riguarda un div che si chiama “product meta”. Dovrei trovarlo nel css del woo commerce?

Perché nel codice d’ispezione posso aggiungere lo style (ovviamente di prova) ma nel php non so in quale documento inserirlo

Saper usare gli strumenti di ispezione dei vari browser non riguarda WordPress, e neppure saper riconoscere/usare i CSS, e ribadisco che non possiamo aiutarti in questo tramite una foto.
Come già detto, quando saprai esattamente cosa nascondere non dovrai farlo nei file originali di woocommerce, ma mediante un child-theme o un custom-CSS se già presente nel tema o nel plugin oppure usare un plugin per modificare i CSS.

Non so cosa tu abbia capito, ma di sicuro non quello che ho scritto io, né quello che risulta al link che ti ho messo, né hai idea di quello che stai facendo o hai fatto.

Non capisco cosa ci sia di diverso da quello che hai detto. Inserire un “display: none” come style. Ed è quello che ho fatto ma direttamente nella pagina php invece che nel CSS e funziona perfettamente. Se non devo ringraziarti la prossima volta lascio in sospeso il post

Intendi dire che hai modificato un file chiamato meta.php di woocommerce?
Cosଠse prima avevo il forte sospetto che tu avessi fatto qualcosa di sbagliato ora ne ho la conferma. A meno che tu non abbia inserito la copia modificata di quel template del plugin nel tema facendo in modo che sovrascriva l’orginale, ma non credo.
Non ho mai detto di fare cosଠma ho detto l’esatto contrario – perché è sbagliato di per sé corrompere i file originali e poi perché tutto si annullerà ogni volta che aggiornerai il plugin e sarai di nuovo da capo (e anche nel caso della copia nel tema ogni tanto dovresti aggiornare il file se l’originale viene aggiornato, sarebbe però meno frequente): quindi cosa non è chiaro in

E perché chiedi consiglio in un forum se poi fai di testa tua pur non sapendo ciò che fai? Cosa ti si risponde a fare?
Se dopo aver letto attentamente non capisci una cosa in particolare chiedi invece di interpretarla liberamente o inventartela di sana pianta dicendo che hai capito… oppure continua a fare come vuoi però almeno per favore non dire che t’ho detto io di fare cosà¬!

Modifica via CSS. La nuova regola la puoi inserire in uno di questi modi (come detto sopra nella seconda risposta):
– mediante un child theme. Fai il piccolo sforzo di imparare cos’è e di farlo e poi sei a posto tutta la vita, naturalmente non solo con questa modifica ma con ogni altra modifica che vorrai attuare in futuro. Visto che sei in locale è adesso il momento di imparare.
– un eventuale custom CSS, cioè uno spazio sotto forma di un box bianco (che altro non è che un file vuoto) già pronto che ti ritrovi nel back-end, a volte offerto dal tema e a volte anche da plugin complessi, non so se woocommerce ce l’ha perché non conosco quel plugin – in cui inserire le nuove regole CSS che andranno a sovrascrivere le originali. Dovresti già sapere se hai o no questo spazio, se non sei sicura guarda tra le impostazioni/opzioni o leggi la documentazione tema/plugin.
– un’altra alternativa è usare un plugin appositamente creato per modificare i CSS. Non è una soluzione che consiglio perché ha più senso un child-theme e sarebbe meglio installare meno plugin possibili, ma la si può considerare nel caso in cui non si riesca a procedere in altri modi.
Modifica via template (se è un file di template). Ricarichi il file originale cioè rimetti tutto com’era prima. Copi quel file e lo modifichi e lo inserisci nel tema corrente creando una directory apposita (quale? devo sapere qual è il percorso originale del file e immagino ci saranno istruzioni di woocommerce su come fare questa cosa). La modifica corretta però non è inserire lo stile in un file php – anche se nel tuo caso semplificando al massimo potrebbe anche andare – ma è modificare o rimuovere o commentare il php, tutte cose molto semplici ma che bisogna saper fare e che puoi comunque tentare trattandosi di sito ancora in locale.
Detto ciò, data la tua inesperienza e incomprensione e soprattutto dato che si tratta di un e-commerce e non di un blog amatoriale e quindi dietro c’è un discorso professionale e un’attività commerciale che comporta anche la sicurezza degli utenti e clienti il consiglio migliore che ti si può dare è in prima istanza di rivolgerti ad un professionista investendo per la realizzazione e messa a punto del sito, e ciò non toglie che nel mentre potrai imparare tutto quello che vuoi per andare avanti un giorno con le tue gambe.
