Ciao,ho trasferito un sito wp 4 da un dominio a un altro,il secondo su Aruba(prima volta che uso hosting Aruba).in fase di trasferimento db ho avuto problemi con l’importazione tabelle risolto esportando il db in mysql40.nonostante sia filato tuttoliscio il sito ha mantenuto solo i contenuti testuali,menu e immagini ma ha perso le impostazioni dei plug-ins.cosa posso aver sbagliato?grazie

Non sappiamo cosa puoi aver sbagliato dato che non dici in dettaglio la procedura utlizzata.
Se hai fatto tutto giusto, allora può essere che tu abbia plugin con tabelle di dati serializzati, che potrebbero dover esser ri-serializzati.
Prova a rifar tutto usando questo plugin.

Ho esportato il db da hostinger in sql40,scaricato i file del sito da hostinger a desktop e ricaricati su aruba,modificato wpconfig con i parametri del db aruba,importato db su aruba,modificato link direttamente da aruba.solitamente questa procedura funziona..cosa intendi x rifare tutto usando quel plugin?

Se hai cambiato dominio ovviamente devi anche cambiare tutti i riferimenti nel database.
Questa è la procedura per trasferire un sito quando cambiano dominio e urls:

In alternativa, puoi usare il plugin indicato.

ti faccio una domanda da principiante in programmazione:
-è possibile che aver esportato il db in sql40 nell’opzione “Sistema di database o server MySQL un po’ vecchio per massimizzare la compatibilità¡ con:” possa aver influito sul malfunzionamento del sito?

Non so cosa sia “sql40”, e neppure posso sapere cosa non va nel tuo DB, oltre al già detto.
Le manovre corrette di esportazione/importazione ti sono state indicate.
Se sei su Windows, dovrai passare a Linux.
I requisiti ideali per WordPress sono PHP e MySQL su Linux, nelle versioni minime indicate qui.
Per il resto, se oltre a sistemare le cose t’interessa fare speculazioni su SQL, chiedi nel forum di SQL, lଠtrovi gli esperti di SQL.

Seguendo il tuo consiglio ho scaricato duplicator.mi da pero il warning su php e una volta impacchettato non mi fa scaricare il file installer!che fare?

Come faccio a saperlo dato che non dici che warning è. Accertati di seguire le istruzioni del plugin e di aver testato che funzioni con il tuo server.
Se non funziona con la configurazione del tuo server, farai il procedimento manuale di cui al link pubblicato sopra.
