attualmente uso un child theme e w3 tcache, nelle impostaz. del plugin ho abilitato il minify e nella sez
CSS minify settings: Enable
Combine only NO
Preserved comment removal (not applied when combine only is active) NO
Line break removal (not applied when combine only is active) SI
@import handling: PROCESS
CSS file management:
Theme: il miop child theme
il problema è che non minimizza i file del tema padre,anche se nell’ultima voce selezione il t padre, quindi avevo pensato di risolvere tenmendomi da parte una cartella con i file originali e nel sever quelli ottimizzati. però chiaramente quando vado ad aggiornare il tema ritorna tutto come prima con i file non ottimizzati. Come posso fare?

Non ho capito niente di quello che hai pensato o fatto, ma di certo tu non dovresti vedere quella cosa del CSS file management. Mi vien da pensare che tu abbia selezionato “manual” sul Minify mode, e se è cosଠmettilo “auto” e lascia che faccia quel che deve fare da solo. Non credo tu sia in grado di configurare una minimizzazione manuale.

ok, si ho messo auto…ma si può cancellare il contenuto della cartella wpcontent>cache>minify? Non vorrei fare una cavolata. Al suo interno ho un htaccess (che lascio stare per sicurezza), e un file css con una serie lunghissima di numeri che mi viene segnalato come risorsa da caricare nell’analisi gtmerix. Nonostante abbia cancellato la cache dal backend questo file non va via.

non vine minimizzato automaticamente, ho letto anche dele discussioni in inglese e non ho capito come si può risolvere o se si può risolvere. Secondo voi si può cancellare diretta mente il contenuto dentro /minify/000000/ oppure non si comprime perchè ho settato male qualcosa in w3 tc? vi ringrazio

Non mi pare una cosa da chiedere, se proprio vuoi sperimentare per vedere gli effetti cancella quello che vuoi facendone prima copia per eventualmente rimetterla su, no?
Questo nel caso tu volessi perdere tempo a fare cose inutili.
Il plugin non necessita di un uso via FPT, devi usare il bottone da backend e comunque la cache si riforma ed è proprio per quello che lo hai messo. Non è che l’.htaccess lo lasci lଠper una tua particolare decisione ma semplicemente perché è come gli altri file che sono in uso al plugin e non vedo perché dovresti cancellarlo, se non appunto per sperimentare. Non vedo neppure perché dovrebbe andar via quel file che riferisci, e perché non dovrebbe caricarlo – se quello è il file di minify del CSS serve al plugin per fare ciò che gli hai chiesto – ovvio che per minimizzare i file esistenti ne deve creare altri appunto minimizzati da caricare al loro posto.
E la minimizzazione non è obbligatoria, se ti dà dei problemi (anche se non ho capito quali), non farla su quella tipologia di file, CSS o JS, che altrimenti non funzionano.
Non so cos’hai letto e non capisco cos’è che devi risolvere o cosa chiedi. Perché vorresti “minimizzare automaticamente” il file di minimizzazione? E poi magari minimizzare il file che minimizza il file di minimizzazione, e cosଠvia all’infinito? Boh.
Come detto, cancella quello che vuoi per fare i tuoi esperimenti, basta che per principio ne fai copia.
PS: Questo modo di non dare riscontro è brutto e improduttivo, come se non fosse utile a chi ti risponde (non è che sappiamo tutto eh) o agli altri. Dire “ok, si ho messo auto” senza specificare (che significa? L’hai messo, cioè era già cosଠo l’hai messo dopo ed effettivamente prima era manuale ed era per quello che vedevi quelle cose)…
