Grazie a chiunque riesca ad aiutarmi,
sul sito
ho installato il tema gratuito “Catch Flames”, mi ci trovo molto bene dopo averlo studiato per qualche settimana.
E’ un tema responsive, però a fianco del titolo, ovvero di fianco al nome del sito c’è l’opzione “search” che sui dispositivi mobili allunga troppo l’intestazione facendo scomparire le foto di testata.
Non riesco a trovare il modo di toglierlo! Ho trovato il modo di aggiungerlo in tutti i punti delle pagine ma non di toglierlo!
Si è capito che sono alle prime armi con WP ma se vorrete esser cosଠgentili da aiutarmi voi più esperti, vi sarei molto grata!

PS: la versione di WP è la 4.2.4

Probabilmente devi modificar eil file header.php del tuo tema.
Devi prima creare un child theme e poi togli la funzione che utilizza il tuo tema per la ricerca dal file header.php

purtroppo per me il tuo suggerimento è scritto in arabo, perdonami se ho scritto che sono alle prime armi, in effetti sono totalmente all’oscuro di tutto e non vorrei che andando a modificare dei file .php incasino tutto!!
Puoi spiegarmi passo per passo quello che devo fare?
Come faccio a creare un child theme?

I child theme si creano cosà¬.
Comunque, il campo ricerca non sovrasta né allunga affatto la foto di testata su nessun dispositivo mobile. Il tema è perfettamente responsive in tutte le sue parti e infatti, ad una determinata larghezza di schermo, il campo scivola regolarmente sotto.
Ciò che copre la testata è semmai il banner per i cookie ma, a parte che l’utente può chiuderlo, questo non è colpa del tema, piuttosto del plugin che usi (ed è un difetto ricorrente in quel tipo di plugin). Devi quindi rivolgerti al suo autore, anche se non credo ci farà granché.
