Salve a tutti, vorrei creare una pagina di accesso sul mio sito che mi porta successivamente al sito completo e deve essere appunto strutturata in maniera diversa dal sito completo e quindi non ci devono essere le varie cose di default come il menu la sidebar.
Per farvi capire meglio il mio intendo guardate questo sito: http://www.nakedwines.com/ , io voglio fare una cosa simile con una pagina in cui metto una presentazione in slide e un piccolo menu in alto che dice accedi al sito completo.
Sapete dirmi come posso fare per realizzare una pagina in questo modo?

Crei il template che vuoi, lo assegni ad una pagina e la scegli come pagina iniziale nelle impostazioni di WP.

alla creazione della pagina posso impostare il template da dargli sola a quella pagina? non ci ho mai fatto caso di sta cosa..
Come si fa non riesco a trovare questa funzione ma mica è un plugin che ti da la possibilità di fare questo?

e poi il resto della pagina per creare un template personalizzato da inserire in una pagina, ho capito bene?

Mica tanto.
Editi un file di testo che poi chiami quello-che-vuoi.php, con all’inizio quel commento iniziale che determina il nome del tuo template, “Archives” è solo un esempio.
Sotto, metti il codice necessario per fare quello che vuoi.
Inserisci il template tra i file del tuo child-theme – se è valido vedrai il suo nome nell’elenco a discesa nell’editor delle pagine e potrai selezionarlo.
Dopodiché imposti quella pagina come pagina iniziale.

Fino qui ci sono, l’unica cosa se voglio utilizzare lo stesso menu del template ma con le voci diverse come posso fare? devo creare un nuovo menu e poi nel php ci devo inserire il nome del nuovo menu al posto del vecchio?

Ad esempio ora ho fatto una nuova pagina php copiando poi stesso da page.php ma togliendo tutte le cose che non mi servono ed ho lasciato solo il menu che mi va bene cosi sulla nuova pagina, l’unica cosa è che le voci del menu devono essere diverse da tutto il sito.

Devi creare di sana pianta un nuovo menu, e poi richiamarlo nel template, ovviamente sempre tutto nel child-theme.
Questo esempio dovrebbe andare
