Buongiorno, ho un blog che mi sta venendo letteralmente inondato di commenti di spamming… praticamente con una media spaventosa di 5-10 commenti al minuto…
Allora: ho installato il plugin askimet, attivandolo con relativa chiave… ho installato il plugin captcha (quello della bws), l’ho attivato solo per i commenti, e funziona egregiamente….
nonostante questo plugin, i commenti spam continuano ad entrare numerosi! Com’è possibile che mi aggirino il captcha?
Su un altro sito wordpress ho inoltre notato, che commenti di spam entrano, nonostante sia disabilitato l’inserimento dei commenti da parte dei visitatori (!!!).
Com’è possibile? Da dove entrano sti commenti spam?

Metti il link ad una pagina di esempio in cui succede.
Su un altro sito wordpress ho inoltre notato, che commenti di spam entrano, nonostante sia disabilitato l’inserimento dei commenti da parte dei visitatori (!!!).
Il modulo dei commenti appare?
Se hai disabilitato i commenti nelle impostazioni generali, ma li permetti in quella determinata pagina allora il modulo dei commenti appare, oppure hai disabilitato i commenti dopo averli permessi. La disabilitazione non è retroattiva (dovrai togliere la spunta a mano per ogni articolo/pagina in cui li hai permessi).
Altre regole generali sono disattivare pingback e trackback, e attivare la moderazione dei commenti. L’importante è che si fermino in bacheca, poi ci pensa Akismet a cancellarli dopo 15 giorni. Il problema dello spam affligge tutti e va a ondate, prima o poi la quantità diminuirà (almeno per lo stesso spammer) – l’importante è non lasciare che siano pubblicati.
Se nei commenti hai attivato il captcha non dovrebbero entrare – ma è un sistema invasivo e non molto gradito dai commentatori abituali, eventualmente da sostituire con la richiesta di registrazione – quindi entreranno da un altro form (contatti o altro).

Ho disattivato “consenti notifica link da altri blog (pingback e trackback)” dalle impostazioni di wp, ma continuano ad arrivare altri commenti di spam… boh…

Ha senso secondo te mettere il captcha e poi nella stessa pagina (contatti) mettere in bella vista l’indirizzo email ben compilato?!
Il captcha comunque non è invincibile, specie quelli facili come le operazioni matematiche, ma certamente l’email visibile non ti aiuta! Perché pensi sia stato inventato il form dei contatti?
E poi, la disattivazione dei pingback funziona come quella dei commenti, la devi disattivare anche dall’articolo singolo e non è che sia miracolosa, togli solo un’occasione in più agli spammer

forse non mi sono spiegato bene… il problema non sono le poche e-mail di spam che arrivano a quell’indirizzo, ma i commenti di spam che entrano in coda di approvazione (in teoria tramite il form per i commenti)….che con l’indirizzo e-mail in chiaro non hanno proprio NULLA a che fare… giusto?!
Riguardo la non-retroattività della disattivazione dei pingback, come si fa a disattivarla articolo per articolo? (e quindi ovviamente controllare che non sia ancora abilitata?)

Andando articolo per articolo. Comunque sono molto riconoscibili rispetto ai commenti, quindi guardando la coda di spam sai quantificare se e quanti ne entrano.
E da dove entrano i commenti lo vedi di fianco ai commenti stessi.

Ok grazie. nel frattempo ho trovato un plugin formidabile… tale “hiddy”,che crea un campo nascosto all’utente ma visibile ai bot automatici, dimodochè i bot, compilandolo, si autoescluderanno (perchè ci penserà il plugin stesso ad eliminare i commenti che avranno anche quel campo compilato).
Grazie a questo plugin, adesso non entrano più commenti in coda di spam, però i bot continuano a visitare il sito creando nelle statistiche migliaia di visite in realtà fasulle e rovinandomi quindi il report delle statistiche… smetteranno mai?
