Ciao a tutti.
Ho bisogno di aiuto per il mio sito http://www.lavorameglio.eu, e si trova su Tophost.
Quando dal sito viene inviata una mail, compare:
“Errore 500 – Errore interno del server. Il server ha incontrato un errore interno o un problema di errata configurazione e non riesce a completare la richiesta inserita. Questo errore può essere causato da uno script CGI non funzionante o da un file .htaccess contenente degli errori”
Questo accade per esempio quando un utente lascia un commento, oppure quando usa i due plugin “Newsletter WordPress” e “SS Downloads”; nel momento in cui da questi plugin viene inviata una mail all’utente o a me come amministratore, compare sul sito l’errore.
Però poi le mail arrivano correttamente, e anche i commenti!
Ho già provato a cancellare la cartella htacces, ma non cambia nulla.
Su Tophost mi dicono che loro non ravvisano alcun problema!
Cosa posso tentare? Vi ringrazio!

Io il form contatti non l’ho ancora installato, ma sicuramente si tratta dello stesso tipo di problema.
Spero che qualcuno sappia dirci qualcosa!

gli up non sono ammessi.
I suggerimenti sono sempre gli stessi che avreste trovato con una semplice ricerca:
1) error 500 non vuole dire nulla, dovete leggere il log degli errori, ma ultimamente un utente ha detto che tophost non li mette a disposizione
2) ripristinare i permessi da pannello di controllo di tophost, come si fa? leggere le guide di tophost
3) diamo per scontato che le prove nell’enorme “leggere con attenzione” le abbiate fatte e abbiano dato esito negativo
4) se non risolvete potete scegliere tra mantenere il sito su tophost che è molto poco costoso e di conseguenza da anche il minimo sindacale o passare ad altro hosting
5) se trovo altri inutili up chiudo e banno.

Credo sia lo stesso problema che accade x spazio web e database, devi aumentare lo spazio dal pannello di controllo

Esatto Mirtea, ho provato a mandarti un messaggio di prova dal tuo form per vedere se era lo stesso mio errore. E infatti è quello.
Tu dici che non dipende neanche da una questione di spazio.
Secondo me è un problema legato all’immissione della mail da parte dell’utente, perché a me dà problemi proprio in quei casi, come appunto i commenti, le iscrizioni e i download, cioè tutte le operazioni che richiedono di inserire un’indirizzo email.
Infatti se mi mando un commento con il mio username funziona correttamente, ma se faccio il logout e mando un commento segnandomi con un’altra mail mi dà errore.
Quindi secondo me c’è qualcosa che fa casino nella gestione delle mail dell’utente.

HO reistallato il form dei commenti che avevo eliminato per fare il tuo test, ti confermo che l’errore è identico al tuo se lascio un commento loggato con il mio profilo viene inviamo senza errori se lascio un commento con un email diversa mi da l’errore.

Dopo aver disinstallato e reinstallato per l’ennesima volta database e wordpress, sembra che nei commenti non dia più errore. Però è subentrato un altro problema: se in wordpress imposto come mail quella che mi ha dato Tophost, non mi manda le notifiche!
Quindi: prima mi dava errore ma mi mandava le notifiche, ora non mi dà errore ma non mi manda le notifiche! Due belle alternative tra cui scegliere

APri un ticket con TH titi diranno che occorre configurare uan cosa, che ovviamente con WP non è possibile se non modificando i file stessi di WP… suggerisco cambio di hosting mettono limiti ridicoli sulle mail come se tutti sul proprio sito gestissero loro il loro codice e rendere l’à¬invio di mail impossibile da TH usando WP è RIDICOLO semplicemente.

Quindi NON è risolto perchè hai cambiato un file di CORE di WP CHE NON VA MAI FATTO, al prossimo aggiornamento sarai da capo…
