ho installato il plugin qTranslate
per ogni articolo o pagina mi da da inserire esempio titolo in italiano, francese e inglese
idem per il testo
facilissimo da usare!
però mi manca la prova del 9!!!
come faccio a testare il sito per vedere se anche in francese e in inglese funziona tutto correttamente?
uso sia google chrome che internet explorer

Il plugin qTranslate è l’unico gratuito, diffuso e ben supportato multilingua, che permette di creare le sezioni per il sito nelle altre lingue.
Il suo funzionamento è molto semplice, ma prima di partire col creare contenuti bisogna conoscere in maniera approfondita, documentandosi in Rete, tutte le funzioni che offre per personalizzarlo alla propria installazione; intendo dire che il più delle volte sarà necessario utlizzare un “tema chid” per inserire nei vari file il codice adatto a rendere il tema compatibile con qTranslate. Inoltre anche per i plugin che si usano potrebbe rendersi necessario un hack del core (ma questo non sempre).
Al momento qTranslate non funziona alla perfezione e tutti gli utenti sono in attesa del rilascio di una versione più stabile.

ci sono novità per l’aggiornamento di qtranslate?
chiedevo se era possibile, per far tornare a funzionare correttamente questo plugin, tornare ad una vecchia versione di wordpress (non so fino a quale fosse stabile e anche dove scaricare le precedenti versioni e anche come installarla senza perdere nessun dato)…

Alternative gratuite e di simili o pari prestazioni al momento non esistono.
WordPress non va mai portato indietro ad una versione precedente, specie quando gli aggiornamenti comprendevano motivi dovuti alla sicurezza.

Per farlo tornare a funzionare bisognerebbe innanzitutto sapere quali problemi si sono riscontrati.

ciao,
i problemi riscontrati sono stati gli stessi che ho letto nelle varie discussioni che ho trovato partendo dal link che mi avevi dato più in su
quindi ho la pagina corretta in italiano
quella in inglese che mi risulta la somma di tre lingue
quella francese vuota e resta vuota anche se la si va a correggere
direi un bel po’ di lavoro perso!
quindi per questo ne stavo cercando la soluzione

in effetti mi sto chiedendo se invece di usare un plugin tipo qtranslate non sia meglio usare wp in multi-site oppure fare varie installazioni di wordpress separate ognuna nella sua cartella e poi indirizzando gli utenti in base alla lingua del browser verso la loro ‘lingua’…
