questa stringa di codice non dovrebbe trovarsi in content?
in quale di questi file php lo trovo?

Domanda molto generica… butto una risposta.. functions.php?
Insomma, difficile che sia in searchform, footer, search, 404, page, recent comments… cerca in quelli più probabili

Io faccio cosà¬:
1. In una cartella del computer copio tutti quei file;
2. Scrivo uno script in vbs che li rinomina “al volo” .txt (o potrebbe andar bene anche .xml);
3. Lancio la normale ricerca della chiave pertinente solo all’interno di quella cartella.
Dimenticavo di scrivervi lo script da mettere in un semplice file di testo da nominare “rename.vbs”:
Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
Set f = fso.GetFolder(".")
For Each file In f.Files
If lcase(right(file.Name,4))=".php" then
file.Name=left(file.name, len(file.name)-4) & ".txt"
End If
Next
Dare al file il nome rename.vbs
Ovvio che se desidero degli .xml lo sostituisco nella riga
file.Name=left(file.name, len(file.name)-4) & ".txt"
La parte finale:::
file.Name=left(file.name, len(file.name)-4) & ".xml"
E mi raccomando che quando il file ha estensione .vbs, di aprirlo (doppio click) solamente dentro a quella cartella creata appositamente!
