Ragazzi fin’ora ho utilizzato wordpress soltanto con un dominio.it e ora ho deciso di prendere anche un dominio.net. Successivamente dal pannello del mio hosting ho personalizzato quest’ultimo come alias in modo di accedere allo stesso sito anche con dominio differente.
Vado sul .net e ok carica la home page correttamente in maniera identica al .it, ma quando vado su un articolo o collegamento mi carica la pagina con il dominio.it.
Io invece vorrei che l’utilizzo del dominio corrente rimanesse invariato durante la navigazione. Ho provato a editare l’indirizzo di un post a caso in .net e funziona tranquillamente. Quindi c’è qualcosa che non va con il re-indirizzamento, e non è dovuto all’hosting ma a qualche configurazione su wordpress.
Secondo voi come potrei risolvere il problema in maniera pulita?
No non puoi perchè il dominio è nel db… i permalink agli articoli sono generati da questo valore e quindi col dominio .it.
Inoltre avere due domini diversi che hanno contenuti identici è assolutamente penalizzante, occorre che il dominio .net faccia un redirect a .it e stop… altrimenti verrai pesantemente penalizzato da google.
Poi si potrebbe pensare a qualche accrocchio software che setti in wp-config le costanti che vanno in override coi valori del db in funzione della pagina di riferimento etc etc.. ma sconsiglio per quanto detto sopra
Suggerisco di studiare come lasciare il dominio .net a se stante e configurare .htaccess in maniera opportuna per ridirezionare a .it cosa che però non ha nulla a che vedere con WP
