Ciao a tutti.
Sto lavorando da mesi 10 ore al giorno al mio sito e lo sto rifacendo completamente con CSS e XHTML validati. Premetto che sn una frana, credo di essere la nonna della maggior parte degli utenti di questo forum e anche se di PC e di grafica mi intendo parecchio, il mondo di WP mi e’ totalmente estraneo.
Ho dovuto inserirlo per potere avere un blog nel mio sito e per farlo mi sono messa a lavorare in locale con WAMP,
usando un theme che ho comprato e poi personalizzato completamente.
Finalmente in locale le cose paiono funzionare anche se onestamente mi rendo conto di non avere molto capito la dinamica di WP.
Ora si tratta di trasferire tutto online sul mio sito in cui ho cmq creato una cartella test nella quale ho sistemato tutto il sito nuovo (lasciando online quello vecchio e malmesso)e in cui ora andrei a mettere WP all’interno della cartella blog. Cioe’ come dire un “sotto sito” nel sito vero.
Pur vivendo in Canada da 10 anni quasi, il mio hosting e’ rimasto su Aruba, e’ un hosting Linux con MySQl.
Sono giorni che cerco sia su siti italiani sia in lingua inglese, la procedura esatta da fare per potere trasferire online WP. Di partenza avevo pensato di potere fare l’upload dell’intero mio sito locale comprendente anche WP, ma credo di avere preso una cantonata visto che si parla cmq e sempre della necessita di installare WP in remoto e quindi non di trasferirlo pari pari.
Per me e’ una questione veramente essenziale riuscire a finire questo lavoro, e’ un po’ l’ultimo mio contatto con la mia vecchia vita in Italia, con il mio passato, i pochi amici rimasti.
Qui sn sola e non posso chiedere aiuto a nessuno ed e’ per questo che mi sto rivolgendo a voi.
Per favore, datemi una mano e spiegatemi passo passo cosa debbo fare ricordando (se possibile) che sn un po’ “stagionata” e quindi fatico a seguirvi.
Non posto qui il mio sito xe’ credo sarebbe fuori luogo (un po’ come farsi pubblicita’), ma e’ un sito personale di immagini e racconti, nulla di commerciale ma solo condivisione di vita ed emozioni.

Grazie della risposta, sto riguardando quell’articolo (QUI che avevo gia’ letto, ma lo avevo scartato perche’ mi sembrava essere completamente diverso da quello che ho letto in certi post qui.
Soprattutto non capisco due cose: la prima e’ il fatto di dovere lasciare il theme sui cui ho lavorato per metterlo su uno di base e la seconda il fatto del cambio dell’indirizzo.
Ovviamente capisco che da
/localhost/mysite/Emozionando_blog/
io debbo passarlo sul mio dominio, ma il fatto e’ che io non metto WP come “sito” cioe’ nella root ma solo come blog interno ad una cartella che potrebbe essere
http://www.mysite.com/Test/FINALE/blog/Emozionando_blog/
e da qui dovrei accedere alla pagina fissa da cui ho i menu’ di accesso al blog
http://localhost/mysite/Emozionando_blog/blog/
Gia qui credo che avere un theme WP che in effetti sarebbe un sito completo di pagine, contact form, gallerie fotografiche e blog, forse rende le cose piu’ complicate; ma e’ stata la mia unica soluzione…..
Comunque se io debbo riportare il mio theme personalizzato a quello di base, poi come potro riportare il tutto come era qui in locale.
E cmq non mi sembra di vedere da alcuna parte in questo articolo in cui si dica che debbo installare WP ma solo di fare upload delle cartelle che ho gia’ della mia installazione (in locale) e nemmeno vedo nulla su come ripristinare il tema che sto usando.
Inoltre si parla del database ma non mi pare si dica se devo cambiare il nome di un database su Aruba per farlo coincidere con il mio fatto in locale o se debbo solamente aggiungere (ma dove?) il database che ho qui in locale.
Come vedi ho le idee veramente poco chiare su questa parte di lavoro, mi scuso in anticipo.
