ciao a tutti,
sono web designer ed un cliente mi ha chiesto di inserire qualche articolo nel loro sito wordpress (versione supervecchia 2.3.3).
Entro nell’admin, modifico qualche articolo e carico qualche nuova foto via ftp. tutto perfetto.
3 giorni dopo vedo l’admin lentissima e che mi dà pagina pianca ogni volta che salvo.Tutti i caratteri accentati sballati (li ho rispristinati con un codice).
Il sito è a posto, ma l’admin dà pagina bianca ovunque tranne che su firefox.
Se disattivo il template però mi viene ripristinata perfettamente.
Io però veramente non avevo toccato nulla…possibile che si sia aggiornato da solo? cosa devo fare?

vedere se è possibile accedere al file di error.log per capire il genere di errore che si verifica.

alla fine ho rispolto…
era un file functions.php nel template.
rinominato quello tutto è tornato a funzionare benissimo ovunque.
ci sono arrivato ragionando su:
il sito funziona quando cambio template -> c’è un problema nel template del sito -> proviamo a rimonimare qualche php per vedere di chi è la colpa
maledetto!
Adesso ho salvato tutto, vorrei anche il database, ma non ho l’indirizzo del php my admin e non mi fido ad inserire i plugin.
Sapete come posso fare?

Chiedendo le credenziali di accesso al db al tuo servizio di hosting, ovvero dovrebbero essere nelle email di quando lo avevi attivato; in alternativa il plugin apposito, che noi usiamo e non da problemi, si chiama WordPress Database Backup.
