Salve a tutti, ho da quasi un anno un blog su piattaforma WP (url: http://blog.studiolegaleorofino.it ), e da alcune settimane mi si è presentato un problema: non riesco più a cancellare un tag o una categoria precedentemente assegnata ad un articolo.
Prendiamo ad esempio l’ultimo posto inserito: http://blog.studiolegaleorofino.it/responsabilita-professionale-avvocato-aggirare-legge/
Ebbene, tra le categorie è riportata “temp” (immagino sia stata assegnata in automatico da WP mentre scrivevo il post), che non riesco in nessun modo a cancellare!
Vado su “modifica articolo”, levo la spunta alla categoria “temp”, clicco su aggiorna, ma al refresh la categoria è ancora selezionata.
Stessa cosa provando ad eliminare uno dei tag precedentemente inseriti: clicco sulla x, poi aggiorna, ma al refresh ecco riapparire il tag precedentemente selezionato.
Preciso che WP è aggiornato alla 3.1, ma che questo problema si è verificato già da quando avevo la versione 2.qualcosa.
Qualche suggerimento?

Mi sono appena accorto che non mi fa nemmeno cancellare i commenti di spam: clicco su “cancellare definitivamente” ma mi dice “Si è verificato un errore non identificato”, ed il commento rimane là¬.

Ho appena provato a disattivare tutti i plugin installati ed il problema persiste: non posso cancellare né categorie, né tag, né spam.

Da “modifica articolo” puoi spostare di categoria il post ma non cancellare la categoria. Quindi devi fare come hai detto, cioè levi la spunta a “temp” ma anche assegnare la spunta ad una altra (o altre) categoria. Gli articoli senza categoria ovviamente vanno in quella undefined o, nel tuo caso, temp.
Quando lo avrai fatto a tutti i documenti presenti nella categoria temp questa risulterà vuota. A quel punto potrai cancellarla dall’apposito menù delle categorie (non aprendo un articolo per la modifica); ovvero lasciarla li e non utilizzarla più..

Purtroppo temo di non essermi spiegato: quegli articoli sono già stati assegnati ad (almeno) un’altra categoria.
Tornando all’esempio di prima, quel post risulta assegnato alle categorie: responsabilità professionale • successioni • temp.
Ebbene, se vado in “modifica articolo”, non mi viene permesso di deselezionare nessuna di quelle tre categorie (ma solo, eventualmente, di aggiungerne altre).
Stessa cosa per i tag: WP non mi lascia cancellare nessuno dei tag già assegnati a quell’articolo.
Come già detto, ho notato inoltre che una cosa simile accade per un commento di spam presente nel cestino dal 10.12.2010: clicco su cancella definitivamente, ma il commento di spam è sempre là¬.
Ho googlato tantissimo ma non ho trovato neppure un disgraziato col mio stesso problema: qualche suggerimento?

Molto probabilmente dipende da un plugin o dal tema, che si interpone tra wp ed il database. Prova disabilitandoli, inizia da quelli che hanno a che vedere con categorie e tags come, ad esempio, simple tags, ecc.

Mi sono ricordato di una cosa che forse può essere utile.
Qualche settimana prima di accorgermi di questi problemi, c’è stato un altro problema con l’hosting di netsons, dov’è ospitato il blog.
In pratica, il blog era sparito.
Al che ho seguito le indicazioni suggerite in questo articolo: http://www.ilbloggatore.com/a1/2008/11/23/error-establishing-database-connection-netsons-e-il-lungo-travagli-del-cambio-server/ e magicamente il blog è riapparso.
Di lଠa poco, però, mi sono accorto di quest’altro problema: può esserci qualche attinenza tra le due cose?

Mi sono ricordato di una cosa che forse può essere utile.

Il problema effettivamente era dal lato server: al nuovo utente al quale avevo associato il database mysql non avevo assegnato tutti i privilegi, e per questo ero in grado di creare e modificare, ma non di cancellare (articoli, tag, categorie).

Appunto, era evidente fosse dipeso da qualcosa “che si interpone tra wp ed il database” .. come è evidente che, se non si forniscono sufficienti indicazioni nell’esporre il problema, noi non siamo dei maghi. Senza la sfera di cristallo di Wolly resta difficile azzeccare; al più si comprende la causa, ma non con esattezza “chi” causa il guasto.
