Salve a tutti,
ho da poco preso un server virtuale aruba per trasferirci su i miei siti che iniziano ad avere un traffico che tophost non reggeva più… ieri ho creato un nuovo dominio sul server ed ho fatto un’installazione pulita di wordpress 3.0.4, risultato: non posso caricare nè immagini, nè plugins; il problema si risolve soltanto se imposto i permessi 777 su wp-content e le relative sottocartelle, cosa alquanto sconsigliata… come posso risolvere?

Ho risolto questo problema facendo l’installazione di wordpress direttamente dal pannello aruba.

non posso farlo perchè non ho il pannello per installare wordpress, joomla etc.

si si, ho preso il server virtuale linux, ma senza il pannello per l’installazione delle applicazioni

con i permessi a 775 dovrebbe fare tutto, ma se non lo fa dai i permessi di scrittura solo alla cartella delle immagini (upload). Per quanto riguarda i plugin caricali via ftp. Ma ripeto, di solito su server Linux fa quasi tutto con i permessi a 775

è strano, senti con il tuo fornitore di servizi se c’è da settare qualcosa nel server. I permessi a 777 si usano solo per pochissime cartelle altrimenti WP diventa un colabrodo
