Ciao a tutti
volevo aprire un sito che parla di un certo argomento e propone le schede tecniche di questi prodotti. l’utente può cercare un prodotto che risponde ai suoi requisiti.
facciamo un esempio, utilizzando i cellulari: in ogni articolo potrei parlare di un modello, inserire delle foto e dati tecnici. Oltre a queste cose, perfettamente gestibili con WP, mi piacerebbe fare in modo che gli utenti potessero cercare un prodotto tramite le caratteristiche, filtrando la ricerca tra i vari modelli
ad esempio, un utente seleziona un filtro che cerca i modelli che rispondo al primo filtro, poi raffina la ricerca selezionando un altro filtro, fino ad arrivare al modello che risponde ai suoi desideri.
un po’ come i filtri sui siti shoppydoo e kelkoo.
mi chiedevo se wordpress sia in grado di offrire questa feature, o se debba ripiegare su qualche altra piattaforma, magari indicandomi quale sia più adatta.
avevo pensato di utilizzare i tag o le categorie per fare questo lavoro di filtraggio, ma non mi pare che si possa selezionare un tag dopo l’altro, idem per le categorie.

La strada è usare i campi personalizzati per classificare le info e poi scrivere un plugin ad hoc che permetta ricerche filtranndosu questi campi…

Si che si può fare… non è nelle funzioni base di WP…

puoi fare un esempio che mi spieghi cosa intendi con “usare i campi personalizzati per classificare le info”
cioè dov’è che sono questi campi personalizzati e come vanno compilati?
se ti è più facile, fai un esempio con un cellulare. Grazie

Ho risolto da me, ho cercato un plugin utilizzando il termine “facet”. La mia scelta è ricaduta sul plugin “Faceted Search” Di Andrew Ulrich
