Allora.. mi serve qualche dritta come da titolo, vorrei che WP inserisse i file che carico (che fondamentalmente sono solo immagini) in una cartella, posta in un sottodominio (sempre legato al dominio principale dove è installato wp). In pratica:
Wp installato su: http://www.miodominio.com
uploads salvati in: http://www.uploads.miodominio.com
(nomi fittizi eh)
Non sto a spiegarvi i motivi di questa scelta perchè li saprete meglio di me.
Come potete immaginare, sto cercando un metodo un pò più comodo del caricare le immagini via ftp nel sottodominio e poi inserirle nei post tramite link.. se possibile vorrei usare sempre il loader di wp.
Ora.. in giro c’è chi dice che basta creare un sottodominio, cambiare l’indirizzo nelle impostazioni alla voce “media” e magicamente tutto funziona, senza configurare altro (quantomento per il semplice caricamento di nuove immagini.. per quelle già presenti il discorso è ovviamente diverso) ma le prime prove che ho fatto in merito non sono state felicissime. Leggendo i commenti in merito, non sono nemmeno l’unico.. quindi mi consolo.
informandomi per sfizio su alcuni plugin di cache, ho visto che W3 ha una funzione CDN che dovrebbe andare anche con domini/sottodomini esterni a quello di WP (a patto di avere un accesso ftp) ma fosse possibile, preferirei una soluzione funzionale e indipendente.
