Salve ragà !
Wordpress 3.0 correttamente installato e perfettamente funzionante.
Ho creato una lista utenti sfruttando il plugin MemberList: http://www.orgogliopeloritano.it/lista-utenti/
Il problema è che per gli utenti che non hanno scritto alcun articolo vengo mandato ad una pagina 404 (gestita da loop.php).
MI piacerebbe facesse vedere gravatar e descrizione come per gli utenti “validi”.
Potete darmi qualche consiglio?

Un’altra cosa: ho dovuto modificare manualmente user-new.php (gli utenti verranno creati dall’admin) per far si che nome; cognome e username [nome+cognome] siano “obbligatori” e user-edit.php per evitare che gli utenti possano “editare tali dati” (insomma, l’admin sceglierà nome; cognome e username > nome+cognome che si ritroverà anche come display-name/nickname e che non potrà assolutamente editare).
Fare tutto ciò “£manualmente” è stato relativamente semplice ma… esiste un plugin per fare tutto ciò in modo da evitare noie in caso di aggiornamento?

Il blog è di un cliente, sto lavorando al fine di evitargli noie e renderli il tutto più semplice e guidato possibile.

1) Nel template che mostra gli utenti occorre modificare il tutto in maniera che nel caso un utente non abbia articoli punti ad una pagina autore diversa che mostri i dati che ti servono… invece di un plugin replica tu le funzioni dello stesos e fai in maniera che la lista generata abia link diversi altre soluzioni non ve ne sono…
Per le modifiche ai file di core non è cosa buona e giusta, a questo punto meglio intercettare la apgina di admin e ad esempio nascondere via css i campi non editabili e filtrare il submit dei nuovi dati per verificare che siano compilati i campi obbligatori, altrimenti vi sono plugin e tutorial online per avere pagine utente nel frontend e non nel backend… utenti con livelli base non potranno proprio accedere all’admin. Il tutto però non è spiegabile in poche righe, occorre usare filtri e action, in avri punti creare eventualmente dei template ad hoc e quindi avereun certa conoscenza di PHP e “scrutare” un poco nel codice di WP e nel codex,
So che sono indicazioni generiche ma ripeto difficile dare indicasioni dettagliate in poche righe.

1) Ma non si potrebbe aggirare l’ostacolo creando un articolo “base” nascosto per tutti gli utenti che non hanno nessun articolo?
Alla fine la pagina autori mostra gravatar e descrizione + eventuali articoli… intercettando la pagina che lo genera dovrebbe essere relativamente semplice far apparire le info desiderate (a me, sinceramente, sa di bug > http://wordpress.org/support/topic/285293 ).
2) So che non è cosa buona (proprio per il problema “aggiornamenti” a mio parere) ma non avevo altre idee.
Lato admin può andare bene cosଠ(pazienza, in caso di aggiornamenti ripeterò le modifiche) ma lato utente mi farebbe comodo il plugin per la pagina utente “personalizzata” nel frontend (magari con campi aggiuntivi vari).
So che la domanda è poco comune e quindi tranquillo, va più che bene, grazie mille

Uppo solo per segnalare che ho risolto ricostruendo/modificando l’author.php originale (grazie a vari esempi trovati sul web +vari ritocchi personali).

Aggiorna Add From Server che è stata appena rilasciata versione compatibile con wp 3.0.
Se non lo avevi tra i plugin attivi allora ovvio non dipende da lui.
