Ciao a tutti!
Ho installato wordpress su server linux (aruba) proprio oggi. Ho anche eseguito l’aggiornamento di wordpress alla 2.9.2.
Ho cercato un plugin per le foto ed ho trovato NextGen, installato senza problemi.
Ho attivato solo questo plugin ed ho il tema base.
Il mio problema dev’essere di una banalità assurda ma non ne esco:
ho creato una galleria, ho aggiunto una foto, ma come metto la galleria nel sito?
Mi spiego meglio:
se ora un visitatore entra nel sito vede i due articoli di prova che ho fatto ma non la galleria.
Dove posso inserirla/linkarla?

Ho appena trovato di meglio: nella gestione della galleria c’è il pulsante ‘aggiungi pagina’, ma ora c’è un altro problema:
nonostante abbia impostato nelle opzioni -> immagine -> Ridimensiona le immagini in automatico al momento del caricamento. quando carico le immagini non vengono ridimensionate e se carico immagini grandi non mi viene creata la miniatura (che rimane bianca).
P.S. – Personalizza la miniatura non funziona su tutte le foto, la finestra che si apre rimane bianca.

Ho trovato perché non si ridimensionano le immagini:
ID 8: Si é verificato un errore
img_1068.jpg (Error : Exceed Memory limit. Require : 117.66 MByte)
come si può risolvere?

Non saprei. Ma ti capita anche con immagini di dimensioni ridotte rispetto a quelle che cerchi di caricare?

Solitamente i principali problemi con NGG sono dovuti a:
versione php obsoleta per NGG;
dimenticanza nel riconfermare i permalink nelle impostazioni di wp;
permessi chmod non corretti;
tema (non nel tuo caso che usi quello di default);
dimenticanza per non aver uploadato imagerotator percui non funge lo slideshow;
ram insufficiente;
incompetenza dell’utilizzatore;
e tanti altri motivi..
Spesso c’è chi lo installa e, senza neanche leggere le istruzioni, pretende di farlo funzionare nelle opzioni avanzate.
L’autore da tempo ha pubblicato tutto ciò che si deve conoscere per l’uso di NGG ed esaustive istruzioni per immagini, album, gallerie, ecc.
Quando si chiede assistenza per NGG la PRIMA cosa che si dovrebbe fare è quella di postare parte dei dati salienti che lo stesso NGG rileva e mostra nell’apposito pannello, al riguardo del server.. altrimenti dare suggerimenti diventa difficile.

Sucede solo con immagini molto grandi.
Tempo fa avevo risolto aggiungendo la riga ini_set(“memory_limit”, “128M”); negli script che facevano l’upload ed il resize.

Potresti fare uno screenshot? Comunque molto probabilmente il problema è di ram.. se guardi (tra quei dati salienti che ho appena detto e che potresti postare qui) vedrai qual’è il limite di memoria imposto dal tuo server.
