Salve, vorrei se possibile un vostro aiuto. Su un host windows + linux + mysql ho fatto l’ upload nella cartella principale dei file di wordpress e fin qui tutto ok. Poi ho notato che non posso inserire nessuna immagine perchè non ci sono i permessi per la cartella wp-content. Come mai anche se l’ host ha anche linux non funziona? Forse devo fare qualcosa su aruba per scegliere il server di default? Ho notato che nella cartella principale che ha il nome del dominio ci sono file che si riferiscono se non sbaglio ad un host windows come public, _private, aspnet_client ecc… quindi può essere che linux è disattivato?

Ti converrebbe passare a server linux – se cerchi nel forum trovi diversi argomenti a riguardo – alcuni sono evidenziati nella pagina principale di wpitaly.it/forum

Se non ricordo male su Aruba se scegli l’hosting Windows + Linux devi scegliere il server principale. Se scegli Windows come dominio principale allora al dominio linux si arriva con l’indirizzo lnx.nomedominio.ext mentre il dominio windows è accessibile con il normale indirizzo http://www.nomedominio.ext, se invece scegli linux come dominio principale allora al dominio windows si arriva con l’indirizzo win.nomedominio.ext, mentre il dominio linux è accessibile con il normale indirizzo http://www.nomedominio.ext.
Comunque su dominio linux sei in grado di impostare i permessi di tutte le cartelle, sia da pannello di controllo che con il client ftp, mentre se non ricordo male su dominio windows puoi impostare i permessi di scrittura solo sulla cartella public.

Grazie, ho fatto il cambio dal pannello di controllo di aruba, in pratica come server di default stava windows, mettendo linux sembra che stia funzionando almeno per ora.
