ciao ragazzi,
ho provato a fare l’aggiornamento automatico oggi, ma nn so per quale motivo nn funziona ho premuto sulla scritta “aggiornamento automatico†poi esce questa scritta: Scaricamento aggiornamento da http://it.wordpress.org/wordpress-2.9-it_IT.zip. ma nn succede niente.
qualcuno sa dirmi il perché ?

approfitto dell’occasione dicendovi che wordpress nonostante abbia messo i dati correnti dell’ftp per l’aggiornamento automatico mi da il seguente errore:
Si è verificato un errore connettendosi al server, verificare che le impostazioni siano corrette.
vi posso assicurare che quelle sono le impostazioni, è due giorni che provo..
se dovessi aggiornare manualmente che procedure devo seguire?

Hai qualche problema di permessi su tutte le directory, pare che apache non riesca a scrivere in alcune di esse. A seconda del provider che usi utiliza se disponibile l’opzione di pannello di controllo per ripristinare i permessi del tuo spazio web o apri un ticket per chiedere come impostarli correttamente.

Non ho dubbi che l’aggiornamento automatico sia uno strumento molto apprezzato di WordPress ma …
stavolta l’aggiornamento automatico alla versione 2.9 mi da dei problemi.
Prima di scegliere “aggiorna autamaticamente” ho settato i permessi per la scrittura ma il risultato, dopo aver premuto il pulsante “aggiorna automaticamente” trovo la scritta “completato” nella barra di stato ma non succede nulla.
Succede solo a me?

purtroppo non ho trovato nessuna risposta.
ma poi ho risolto con l’aggiornamento manuale.

Premetto che sono assolutamente digiuno di WordPress.
Ho acquisito l’incarico di gestire da volontario un sito di informazione sociale (www.perlacalabria.it) che era stato abbandonato perchè non funzionava (veniva visualizzata solo la sidebar e non la colonna centrale con i post.
Ho provato ad aggiornare la versione 2.6 con la 2.9, ma dopo aver effettuato la cancellazione dei vecchi file (in effetti per sicurezza li ho salvati in un’altra cartella sul mio pc) e l’invio dei nuovi file via FTP, all’atto del tentativo di far partire l’upgrade da web digitando http://www.perlacalabria.it/wp-admin/upgrade.php non succede nulla.
Ho provato anche a cambiare l’indirizzo, visto che i sito si trova su un server nella directory principale (http://www.perlacalabria.it/httpdocs/wp-admin/upgade.php, o anche anteponendo httpdocs al nome del dominio, e ancora togliendo il www.), ma la pagina resta bianca.
Chi può aiutarmi?
