Ciao a tutti!
Ho un problema piuttosto strano, è tutta la sera che ci batto la testa e allora ho deciso di chiedere il vostro aiuto.
Ho costruito il mio sito su locale, mettendo nell’header questo commento condizionale per far tornare il template su explorer:

<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”<?php bloginfo(‘stylesheet_directory’); ?>/style_ie6.css” type=”text/css” media=”screen” />
<![endif]–>
e tutto funzionava ala perfezione.
Ho messo tutto online (SERVER LINUX ARUBA) e tutto funziona bene tranne appunto il css per explorer.
La cosa strana è che se tolgo il commento qualche elemento della grafica cambia di posizione, come se il css che gli avevo affidato fosse riconosciuto dal browser, ma fossero sbaglaiti i valori (ripeto su locale funzionava alla grande).
Ho provato allora a editare di nuovo il css (per esempio fare qualcosa di eclatante come mettere il body nero, cosଠper verifica) ma non funziona.
Il css sembra collegato, ma se lo edito non risponde ai cambiamenti.

Anzitutto, se vuoi che la modifica sia per il 6 e per le versioni precedenti, ma non per quelle successive, dovresti usare questa formula:
<!–[if lte IE6]>
<![endif]–>
L’if l’hai messo anche sull’altro CSS? Del tipo “se non è minore uguale a IE6 allora usa questo CSS“? Magari va specificato..`

ciao fanciullino,
ho usato gte perchè su locale quel css nominato style_ie6 sistemava tutti i problemi anche su explorer 7 8.
ho provato anche a scrivere solo <!–[if IE6]> ma non funziona lo stesso.
Non so se può essere utile sapere che il tema è una customizzazione del tema di default di WP.

Ho dato un occhio, ma non ho trovato alcun errore, per quanto poco io ne possa sapere di PHP.
L’unica cosa che mi viene in mente è provare a specificare l’url assoluto, o relativo, senza l’ausilio di PHP.
Cosà¬:

Ho provato ma niente
il fatto non è che sia sbagliato il lnk al css, perchè come ho detto se lo tolgo alcune cose cambiano di posizione, per cui vuol dire che vede un css per explorer ma lo “LEGGE MALE”.
Se provo a modificare il css però non risponde alla modifiche

Ah ora mi è più chiara la dinamica.
Sei sicura che non sia un problema di refresh? Dovresti cancellare la cache e poi aggiornare la pagina, su Internet Explorer, perché forse si tiene in memoria i dati senza andare a ripescarseli dal css..
