Salve,
da un paio di giorni sto cercando di aggiornare il mio wordpress alla versione 2.8.
Seguendo il manuale di un utente wordpress ho aggiornato l’ftp seguendo il manuale alla lettera,
ma una volta fatto l’homepage del mio blog mi re-indirizza alla scheda di registrazione del blog.
Cosଠho cancellatop i file e re-installato sull ftp laa carella di root che avevo precedentemente backuppato..
Ora il problema persiste
Qualcuno può darmi qualche suggerimento?

Ciao Steve, il file wp_config c’è, ho ricaricato sul server tutta la cartella backuppata..
Possibile che non lo riconosca?
Sto cercando varie soluzioni ma passo da un problema all’altro.
Attualmente, ho modificato i permessi alle cartelle e la pagina mi dà 500 internal server error

ripristina i permessi secondo le indicazioni del tuo provider o dal pannello di controllo del tuo spazio.. dipende quale hosting usi,

Ho fatto anche quello.
Se ripristino i permessi wordpress “lavora” ma mi reindirizza sulla pagina di installazione,
come se il file wp-config non funzionasse, ma i dati del mysql in wp-config sono esatti..
L’host è ovviamente Aruba (visti gli intoppi ogni volta che tocco qualcosa)

si sono sicuro, i dati sono corretti e il database funziona, anche i permessi sono 755….. che dire, sono a un punto morto..

Ho trovato in rete questo articoletto. Prova a cancellare o rinominare il file wp-admin/install.php e vedi che succede.

Grazie Macavanzi, ho provato anche questa, ma ovviamente jeff dice di cancellare il file per evitare
che qualcuno aacceda al sito..
Pare che sia un problema di database, pagato non poco tra l’altro…

Ho aperto un ticket su Aruba e dopo qualche ora il sito ha ricominciato a girare a modo..
Purtroppo non mi danno spiegazioni, ma adesso sembra funzionare.. http://www.notawonderboy.com
