Salve vorrei risolvere questo problema. Ho installato wordpress sulla root principale del mio dominio linux su aruba perchè avendo acquistato un tema premium il programmatore mi ha detto che NECESSARIAMENTE dovevo caricare wordpress sulla root principale altrimenti non avrebbe funzionato il tema. WordPress installato sulla root funziona benissimo, ma il mio problema nasce dal fatto che ho fatto una presentazione in flash che vorrei apparisse appena si digita l’url. La presentazione è fatta in flash ed inserita nel file index.htm. Quando digito l’url del dominio appare (giustamente) la intro in flash che termina con un’icona entra. Quell’icona entra (secondo i miei calcoli) avrebbe dovuto puntare a http://www.miodominio.com/index.php in modo da far partire wordpress…… e invece niente. Si apre sempre l’url del dominio principale con la presentazione flash. Ho provato anche a digitare direttamente http://www.miodominio.com/index.php ma si riapre sempre il flash. Io sapevo che i server leggono in priorità : prima index.htm e poi index.php….. come posso risolvere il tutto????

La cosa più comoda da fare è usare la pagina statica con la presentazione come home di WP, quindi interna a WP e non un html esterno.

Non è la cosa che vorrei fare. L’introduzione dovrebbe vedersi una volta sola, e permettere al navigatore di entrare poi nel blog wordpress. Per rendere l’idea il sito in questione è http://www.navonaantiquariato.com
Inserire questo tipo di intro in flash non è il caso, perderebbe tutta la sua funzione di intro… e poi si vedrebbbe sempre come “home” di wordpress mentre io ho bosogno di farla vedere solo una volta all’inizio e poi basta.

Non è detto che si veda sempre: se non inserisci il link a “home”, o se la filtri dall’elenco delle pagine, non si vedrà mai. Apparirà solo puntando all’indirizzo tuosito.com, ma a tuosito.com/index (o quello che vuoi) ci sarà il blog.
Il conflitto tra index.htm e index.php si verifica perché WP, di norma, non si lancia attraverso una pagina php diretta, ma dal percorso assoluto. E quindi aggira la regola per cui index.php è diverso da index.htm, puntando il primo a miosito.com.
Magari è possibile sistemare la cosa da .htaccess, ma lascio che ne parli chi si intende di .htaccess…

Grazie degra per i consigli ma non credo di aver capito bene. Puoi essere cosଠgentile da spiegarmi passo-passo come fare? Mi sembra di capire che si può fare ma non capisco cosa intendi per filtrare le pagine…… ti ringrazio per tutto il tempo che mi hai dedicato e che mi vorrai dedicare.

Intendo che quando richiami la lista delle pagine con wp_list_pages( $args ) puoi escludere dall’elenco qualsiasi pagina, mostrando tutte le altre.
