Quancuno sa’ come inserire un php.ini personalizzato con Dreamhost anche se loro non lo permettono?
Nello specifico mi si e’ creata la necessita’ di inserire questa righa di settaggio specifica nel php.ini per far girare un plugin scritto per php4 su php5:
“allow_call_time_pass_reference = onâ€
Se avete il suggerimento giusto o conoscete qualche hack per farlo o per ottenere lo stesso risultato …

Ovviamente se poi incasini il server condiviso.. ti bloccano l’account…

Purtroppo non sono su condiviso ma vhost … e quella “faq” non funziona – Non so’ perche’ ?!? (infatti non dovrebbe), ma non funziona.
Ho scritto all’assistenza e mi hanno risposto che non e’ possibile!

Non e’ che esiste un trick o un hack per .htaccess e/o wp-config.php e/o functions.php ?

no puoi provare il ini_set e vedere se funziona lo metti dove ti server avere questa cosa.

Steve non funziona nemmeno quello! Evidentemente Dreamhost blocca proprio “quella particolare funzione” di accesso/reading al framework scritto per php4 … ci sarebbe anche la possibilita’ di autocompilarsi il php5 ma non ha alcun senso su di un hosting che te lo autogestisce: perche’ aggiungersi della fatica in piu’ …
Comunque chi ha idee si faccia avanti! Grazie.
